Time flys

Wow tomorrow is our last day here, then we board the train at 8am on New Years day and get off the following day in J'burg.
We have had lovely days here in Cape town,, lots of family outings, lots of shopping, swimming in the pool.
For the parents 50th wedding anniversary, we had breakfast here, then all went into town and caught a double decker bus that you could hop on and off as it went on a scenic tour around the cape and bays. It was great fun. Then in the evening we went for a 50 min drive to a place called Moyos which is an outdoor african style restaurant. Its hard to describe so heres a link to it
http://www.moyo.co.za/moyo-stellenbosch.aspx  It was an amazing atmosphere and we all really enjoyed the evening.
The next day, Johan and I borrowed Pa's car to go to the wine district. The dutchies went with Ankie up to Langebaan. Johan and I got to the town of Stellenbosch and had a look around and a coffee, they have some beautiful old dutchie type buildings, then I went to look at some african stalls while Johan went to get some cash. Nextminit he comes running up to find me to tell me he's been scammed he thinnks. Anyway turns out he certainly had! A guy came up behind him at the money machine and 'helped' him and turns out bamboozeled him enough that Johan cant actually remember how it happened. But the guy managed to get R$7000 off his card before we could ring and cancel it. That kinda put a bummer on the day so we turned around and came back home to go on line and check what had been taken, thats when we found out how much had been taken.
Today we set off for Cape Point, which is where the 2 oceans meet. We only had to take 2 cars becuase the boys and their girls where otherwise occupied. We drove around bays up mountains, its beautiful scenery. Everywhere you go there are heaps of tourists, so theres always fun trying to find parking, and cues to get through toll gastes etc. It was a bit of a hike up the last bit to the point, but beautiful. Its really hot here, but a dry heat and the breeze is alwaays very welcome. We have just got home now, at 4pm, have just said our goodbyes to Paul as he and Jane have gone off camping with friends for a few days so we wont see him again before we leave. Now its time to go and put on gladrags again and get ready to go out to dinner, Ome Ouds shout tonight for his birthday on the 5th. (he is Leine's brother, Maartens dad, him and his wife came over to celebrate the anniversary, they arrived 3 days after us and are here for 5 weeks).
We are trying to sort out accomodation in J'burg because we get off the train in the morning and dont get on the plane until 10 at night, so would like to have somewhere to hang during the day, not much fun lugging 2 heavy cases around J'burg!
See you in NZ soon :)
