Day 2.
It seems like we have been here a lot longer :)
Day 2 was another day with lots of driving. After a lovely night in our amazing accomodation we hit the road and headed off
to see God's Window, the Three Rondawels, and Pilgrims rest.At each of these tourist places there's heaps of craft stalls.
Travelling along the roads is something else - you see heaps of black people
walking along the side of the road, and you rarely if ever see white people, even in the towns you might see one white in the whole town.
The weather has been fairly overcast so the views aren't always the best, but they are still amazing! The land is just something else.
We have lots of photos and video clips. We finally got to the Mamorth park which is alongside the Kruger, late afternoon.
As we were driving up the dirt track we saw Impala sitting by the river about 20 meters away, and roaming around our grounds was a warthog.
I was relly tired and struggling so we had a quick dip in the pool at 6 before dinner at 7. Dinner is outside by fire and candle light under the African sky.
3 course meal, waiters, no cooking for me!!!! :) Lovely. Then it was time to crash in our huge bed.
Day 3. So far today we have wandered out the gate and seen a tortise crossing the road, then in the Kruger park (which we can see from our bed!) we saw waterbuck,
then we carried on walking and saw two hippo having a bath in the crocodile river. There sure is wildlife here, and so close. Chilling out today to try and get some energy back
tomoorw we are off on safari at 5am! so for now I will carry on enjoying my pinacolada by the pool.
