Went into KP today. Left the lodge at 5.30am. We had a guide and a game viewing ute. managed to see lots of animals, including
lions on three different occassions. One was lying in the middle of the road and had recently been in a fight as he had bad
battle wounds on his head. He was lying on the road to keep warm. he did not even move when all the cars went by and stopped
to admire him.
Also came accross a lame elephant that had been caught in leg irons and could hardly walk. Saw lots of impalas, zebras,
wildebees, elephant, buffaloes, giraffes and others. Also some kudu and later back home an ostrich as well.
It turns out that our guide grew up in Pinetown at the same time as me and we had a few common friends. How good is that?
Shared the game drive with some Ukrainians.
Last night at this place and tomorrow off to Hluhluwe.
