Hi, speeding down to Christmas! Busy busy at work for Reubs and I, a steady pace for Johan. Reub's and I are doing +40 hours a week now and next week is going to be even bigger.
Last night was Johan's work do so we went down to Birsbane, booked a motel 'cos we didn't want a long drive home. We took a taxi to the venue - wow what a scarey experience that was! He didn't know how to find the place (yes he even had a GPS) he nearly went off the road twice and had to do a U turn on an unlit country road once! We got there $70 later, glad work pays for the taxi!
Anyway, it was nice to meet the people Johan works with, many of which he had never met before becasue they work out on the field while he is stuck in the office doing the tenders to try and keep them all in work. The ride back to the motel was less eventful (or maybe the few glasses of wine made it feel better!). This morning we got up and drove on down to Coolingatta to go to the Currubin Wildlife park. I have put a folder of photos on the right hand side if you want to have a look see. The koala's were soo cute
Then on the way home we stopped in at Surfer's to soak up the atmosphere, we didn't go for a swim the water was only 21.
Reubs had an awesome time home alone as his new graphics card arrived on Friday so he was able to pull up an armchair and plug into our big TV with his computer. So a great Fri night/ Sat had by all here :)
Here's a photo of an apartment building just down the road from us. We are so not into Christmas this year but still nice to see pretty lights when out for our nightly walk.
