2 months to the day.
Wow time goes fast! Facebook is so much fastwer and easier than blogging.
What's news from us... Reubs is home and wishing he wasn't, well wishing he could be back in Europe.
He brought home some yummy nougat and some devine wine (in plastic drink bottles) from the streets of Venice.
We are still trying to sell our house. Not much is happening and we are considering taking it to auction.
We are having a big clear out. My neice Sam and her partenr came up a week or so ago and she listed lots of bits and pieces on Trade me, think we made about $400 on stuff which would have got throwen out or taken to the charity shop. Sam came up with her partner and left with her fiance! He proposed to her up on a beach north of here one sunny day while they were staying. They have been together for 3 years and she had been waiting for the day for a long time, the proposal came as a complete suprise to her. She is one happy girl. It was lovely for us to be part of the celebration.
Sadly we put one of our cats down today - Misty, she had a kidney problem.
We are also in the process of rehoming Indi. Apparently no Bouvier pups have been available for a few years so people and tending to ask for rehome bouvs if they want to own a bouv. The people that may take Indi live on a lifestyle block in Tauranga and already have a Bouv so know what they are like. That is going to be a VERY sad day when we have to say goodbye. She would stress so much while we are in South Africa that its better that she goes to a new home now.
Its only 2 months and 2 days before we will be on the plane to South Africa! This year has gone by so quickly. I'm glad I'm busy with house sale and other things to keep me distracted from thinking about flying!
We have everything booked for the trip so now its just to actually get there and do it! Johan and I were sitting in the spa last night thinking we better start sorting out Christmas presents.
Work - well its work, but neither of us are very happy in our jobs. Once we sell the house we will reevaluate what we want to be doing.
