Indeed it has been a long time, and I'm not sure anyone even reads blogs anymore.
Our house is in a state of organised shambles.
We are selling up and moving to the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. We fly out on Tues 30th April.
So for now we are busy trying to sell everything! Cars, furniture, knives and forks, it all has to go.
The kids have moved out and found a neat home down the road, 2 of the 4 animals have been successfuly rehomed. Johan has handed in his notice at work, the boss thought he was joking when he first told him.
The house is set up like a garage sale at the moment, except for one room with bits we really want to take with us, we are allowing ourselves 3 cubic metres to be shipped over - thats not a lot!
We have organised a hire car for a week while we find one to buy. We are going into a furnished apartment for a month until we know where we want to settle.
Johan doesn't have a job lined up but we are confident his skills are in great demand over there. He does have a couple of employers waiting for him to arrive so they can have a coffee and a chat.
So our new adventure is about to begin :)
