It's been a while

Over a month since I last wrote anything on here. Don't know if that means life is too boring to post or too busy to post!
What's been happening...
Johan and Reubs and my boss went down to Tauranga for a few days to try and sort out the problems with our rental. Hopefully they are a bit further on with solving the issues but it does still require another trip.
the following weekend I had a much more exciting reason to go to Tauranga. Reubs and I drove down to Auckland International airport to pick up my sister Sez and her 5 year old and 8 week old boys. We all continued on down to mum's (dad had flown out the same day to friends in Melbourne) and stayed with her for the weekend. Becka(my neice, who stayed in Kerikeri with us for a while) and her beautiful girls, including a new 8 week old baby, and my brother Morgan, and 2 of his awesome kids came around during the weekend so it was a neat family catch up with lots of baby and small people cuddles. Reubs and I got home on Monday evening, back to work Tuesday. Johan had held the fort well, and managed with the 2 students. Fri am Johan and I went off to a strategic planning weekend for my work. My boss booked out a backpacker/motel up north ad we all took off on Fri morning. Some work, some wine, some card games, lots of food (one of the staff's partners is a chinese chef) and lots of laughs later... we finished and headed home. My old jumior school friend and her partner had 'house, pet and student' sat for us. They stayed on the following night so more food and wine and laughs, and Johan and Phil got 2 games of golf in! So it was a busy weekend.
Tomorrow is meant to be my day off (housework/pay bills day) but due to some serious 'issues' with one of our students it has turned into a morning of appoinments with doctors and counsellors..
never mind, it's nearly a long weekend! and for that we are expecting my brother and 3 of his children to come up from Rotorua and stay with us. Here's hoping the weather forecast imp[roves, maybe weven enough for the guys to go fishing.
So all is good, trucking along with South Africa firm in our sites for the end of the year. Before then we have a few days in Australia in May and Reubs has his month in Italy in June to look forward to.
