The day that was

our wedding anniversary yesterday. The anniversary of when we signed the 'offical' papers. So we celebrated by going out for breakfast. We went to Pahia and had a yummy breakfast while watching the FIFA world cup! then for dinner we had a church 'guess whos coming to dinner' and we ended up going to have dinner at a guys house who is 93 and counting, dutch, with lots of stories to tell and an over warm house- not good for the two of us with hot flushes or Johan who constantly broke out in a sweat! and the other guest turned out to be someone that knew my aunty Gwenyth well! small world yet again. In between we gardened, entertained a lovely 'homeless' man and went for a walk to the river. Twas a a good day - helped by the fact that it was hot and sunny which is more than we can say for today.
